Our Story

Ryan Silkey, owner of Randy’s Bistro, grew up in Montreal West and is the youngest of three children. It was during a summer job as a short order cook that his love of creating and cooking began.  He graduated from Le Cordon Bleu and since then he has gained a lot of experience working in several different types of restaurants in Montreal and in Kingston, Ontario.  When the opportunity to open his own bistro in the heart of Montreal West came up, he didn’t hesitate.  Sadly Ryan’s father Randy passed away a few years ago. Randy had also had thoughts of opening a restaurant in Montreal West years ago, and now we have come full circle with a dream and Randy’s Bistro is now a reality.
